Mayde Creek Rams rumbled past district opponent Seven Lakes Thursday night at Rhodes Stadium. Rams’ running back Devown Hines started the game with a 28 yard touchdown run and closed it out with a 13 yard TD run, leading Mayde Creek to a 35-28 victory.

Hines shined for Mayde Creek running for 134 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries. Mayde Creek worked the clock, pounding the ball against Seven Lakes, gaining 224 yards, with four different Rams score rushing touchdowns. Devante Babin, Christopher West and Vaughn Miller each scored one, while Devown Hines accounted for two.

With Mayde Creek’s win, the Rams move to 4-1, with their next game against Katy Taylor.

For Seven Lakes, wide receiver Anthony Kendrick caught six passes for 97yards and 3 touchdowns, two of which were one handed touchdown grabs.
