Aldine Nimitz has a talented girls basketball team, but the talent of Brittney Griner stands above all the rest, literally. Just listen to her coach Debbie Jackson.

"There's no doubt in my mind she's going to change the face of the women's basketball game."

"It motivates me a lot it really does that people think I can change the game," responds Brittney, "I hope I can live up to everyone's expectations I know that's one of my goals."

She's tough inside but she's also nimble on her feet and she possesses a nice shooting tough which creates all kinds of problems for opposing teams"

"No there's not much you can do to stop 6-8," notes Kingwood Coach Tonia Thomas. "There's not much of a game plan."

"I thank God a lot for me being able to be so mobile," Brittney says. "And I thank soccer a lot from playing 7th & 8th grade goalie that helped me with my footwork a lot."

In this game versus Kingwood Britney blocked 10 shots ..and she scored 41 points. She notched her 17th triple double of the season and yes she had two thundering dunks! 

Brittney will play at Baylor next season.
