The Les Bois Soccer Association is proud to announce the U18 girl’s soccer team college commitments. Several of these girls will be playing at the D1 or D2 level and will be signing National Letters of Intent to play while others have made verbal commitments to play with Colleges.
This team has been one of the most successful girl’s soccer teams in Idaho winning State Championships for the U12 through U15 years as well as advancing to quarterfinals for all Far West Regional play. In addition, the team has acquired numerous local and regional tournament championships. This team also maintains an average GPA of 3.6.
The following girls will go on to compete at the college level with most receiving scholarships to play. The following LBSA players will receive athletic scholarships to these institutions:

-DIII and Ivy League programs do not offer athletic scholarships; academic scholarships only (Shigeno and Sahlberg).
- Brandy Hickcox was named Gatorade Idaho High School Player of the Year 2007.
- Jacque Sahlberg was the 2nd high school female in Idaho history to break the 5 minute mile (the first was former Les Bois player Dana Morgan).
- Three players will be playing for Boise State, three for College of Idaho, in Fall 2008.
- Les Bois still has four more seniors who will likely play college ball in Fall 08, but are undecided where (Liz Watson, Jordan Bodily, Jaimie Morton).
- 100% of the players above, received an academic scholarship.
-The official NCAA signing day for the sport of soccer is Feb. 6, 2008
-80% of these players are also receiving academic scholarships. |
