High school sports hits you hard!

Each week we'll highlight what we think is the game of the week.

We're not going to pretend like we know what mid-season games will be important, but here are a few you probably shouldn't miss.

The Lake City and Coeur d'Alene rivalry has become one of the best in the Inland Northwest. The two squads hook up September 28th at Lake City in what could be a battle for the league title.

On the same night in Washington, Ferris meets Gonzaga Prep.

It's always fun to see how the Idaho and Washington schools compete against each other.

Coeur d'Alene plays host to two Spokane area schools. The Vikings face University on August 30th and Mead on September 14th.

Right after that, North Central hosts Sandpoint on September 27th.

Finally, Central Valley travels to Lake City on October 5th.

All could be fun games to watch.
