Ferris took down East Valley 35 - 7 in Week 2.

The South Hill rivalry is about bragging rights and so much more this season. L-C and Ferris are both 2 and 0.

The Saxons have scored 77 points in their two wins with their wide open style of play. The Tigers won in the closing seconds of regulation in week one. Last Friday, L-C fought past Mead in overtime in one of the hardest hitting G-S-L games in recent memory. Will the Saxons' offensive weapons be too much for L-C, or will Alex Shaw and the bone crushing Tiger defense be able to slow Ferris down and keep it a low scoring game? The good news for high school football fans in the area- the 6:15 matchup at Albi is the only game on the schedule. It should be worth the price of admission even if you aren't rooting for the Tigers or the Saxons. The bad news- this matchup would be even bigger if it was later in the season.
