SPOKANE -- You've probably heard of some of Ferris High Schools top athletes like DeAngelo Casto and Beau Brett, but what about Kelly McNamee?

If you don't know who she is...you should definitely learn about her.

McNamee is one of the main reasons the Ferris girl's track and field team finished undefeated and took home the GSL championship.

She competes in the hurdles, long jump, and high jump. It's the high jump that she's really good at.

McNamee's personal record of 5'10" is tied for the best mark in the country by a female high school high jumper.

She could become the first girl to jump 6' at state since 1996. McNamee could also aim for the state record of 6'2".

The state tournament is May 23rd and 24th in Pasco.

No matter what happens, McNamee's skills have earned her a full scholarship to the University of Washington starting next year.
