SPOKANE -- DeAngelo Casto, who helped Ferris to a 4A State Championship and undefeated season last year, is back on the floor for the Saxons.

Casto transfered to Franklin High School in Seattle after his junior year, but returned to Spokane after the 2007-2008 school year started. Casto was denied by the GSL in his attempt to return to the court,but appealed to the WIAA and won.

His appeal was heard on Monday, and the WIAA cleared the 6'8" senior to play immediately. Casto played in the undefeated Saxons' game at East Valley on Tuesday night. He came off the bench and scored 5 points, all in the third quarter.
