Citrus Hill runs win string to 38

Hemet Tahquitz High School, fighting for a shot at the CIF Eastern Conference playoffs, threw a giant scare into streaking Perris Citrus Hill on Friday night.

While the unbeaten Hawks (10-0) won their 38th straight game in a 20-17 thriller, the Titans (4-6, 3-4) lost their slim chance at a CIF playoff berth.
