Well their tough schedule paid off, (9-5) Central will be playing in their first state championship game in school history. They have their work cut out for them though because they will be facing undefeated Belfry.

Last week the Yellow Jackets defeated (9-5) Paducah Tilghman 17-14 with a last second field goal. This put their current winning streak at four games.

Last week Belfry defeated (13-1) Breathitt County 62-28. This gives them a shot for the state title and the perfect season.

The championship game will be played Friday at Papa Johns Cardinal Stadium at 3:30.
