Saturday night at Papa Johns Cardinal Stadium St. Xavier and (12-2) Trinity will be battling for the Kentucky Class 6-A state title.

These two rivals locked it up earlier this year ending in a 24-15 St. X win. Sice then Trinity has gone on to win nine straight games, and the Tigers are still undefeated.

Last week the Tigers knocked off (10-4) Meade County 31-3. This win puts them in their 28^th state championship game.

The Shamrocks beat (10-4) Boone County last week 56-21.
