Trinity senior Tim Phillips has chosen to play football in the Fall of 2009 at Central Michigan University. Phillips chose CMU after visiting the campus for a camp.

The 5'6'', 165-pound running back is a leading candidate for Mr. Football. Phillips has rushed for over 3,000 yards and 50 touchdowns over his last 2 seasons at Trinity, both state title seasons.

Phillips also won the state powerlifting competition in the 165-pound class and finished 2nd nationally. He runs a 4.4 40-yard dash and bench pressed 365 pounds last spring.
