TOP STORIESTrinity running back Tim Phillips picks Central Michigan05:59 PM EDT on Friday, July 11, 2008Trinity senior Tim Phillips has chosen to play football in the Fall of 2009 at Central Michigan University. Phillips chose CMU after visiting the campus for a camp.
The 5'6'', 165-pound running back is a leading candidate for Mr. Football. Phillips has rushed for over 3,000 yards and 50 touchdowns over his last 2 seasons at Trinity, both state title seasons.
Phillips also won the state powerlifting competition in the 165-pound class and finished 2nd nationally. He runs a 4.4 40-yard dash and bench pressed 365 pounds last spring. |
