Canby hosts Tigard Friday, as two of the top teams in the Pacific League jockey for playoff position.

Tigard (10-2) is tied for first place with Tualatin. Canby is two games back, but can move up by winning out. Stakes are high, as the first place team will get an opening round bye in the playoffs.

The Tigers are red hot, having won their last eight games, including a 53-45 win over Canby two weeks ago.

The Cougars did manage a win over Tigard in their first meeting of the season.
