The defending champion West Albany Bulldogs are undoubtedly the team to beat in the 5A ranks. But there's at least two teams in Hillsboro that appear to be up to the challenge.

Glencoe (3-0), just barely escaped Corvallis last Friday, with a 25-19 win in double overtime. But the road to the playoffs doesn't get any easier. After this Friday's game against Century, the Crimson Tide still has matchups against Hillsboro, Sherwood, and Wilsonville. Three of those teams are ranked in the AP top 10.

Century (3-0) racked up 37 points last Friday, in the first three quarters against Lebanon. They held on to win 37-30.
