The Grant Generals are undefeated no more.

The Canby Cougars handed the Generals their first loss of the season, 27-12 in Canby Friday night.

Canby was coming off a disappointing loss to Beaverton, in which they only managed to put six points on the board. But they bounced back big.

The Cougars went to its bag of tricks early. A reverse pass to Cody Jones in the first quarter, put the Cougars up 7-0 in the first quarter.

The Cougars went on to score three more touchdowns, all three by T.J. Gorman.

Meanwhile, the Generals' offense has been among the best in the state, with dynamic quarterback Andre Broadous at the helm.

But on this night the Cougars D held the Generals offense in check to score their biggest win of the season.
