Portland Mayor Tom Potter honored the state soccer champs Wednesday.

The Lincoln High School girl’s team, and the 6A Central Catholic High School boys’ team were honored at City Hall.

Potter said he hoped the declaration not only recognizes the individual soccer championships, but also the values of collaboration and partnership that students for students in extra-curricular activities.
