Central Catholic improved to 3-2 overall and an unbeated 2-0 in league play with a hard fought 16-10 win over Barlow.

Quarterback Nick Green once again led the way for Central Catholic, connecting with Jordan Freelander for a first-quarter touchdown pass to give the Rams a 7-0 lead.

Freelander also helped the Rams on D with a key interception on a Barlow drive.

The Bruins rallied for a 7-7 halftime tie behind the strong running of Malcolm Johnson, who powered in for a one-yeard score. But the Rams pulled away in the second half on a long Nick Green TD run, to improve to 2-0 in league play.

The loss dropped Barlow to 2-3, 1-1 in the Mt. Hood league.
