The running back carried for almost 200 yards and scored three touchdowns, including a 55-yarder in the opening quarter. With the victory, the Bulldogs finished 14-0 and have a record of 41-1 over the past three seasons.
Also on Saturday, the Fisherman of Astoria topped Banks 19-11 to capture the 4A championship. Fisherman quarterback Jordan Poyer ran for 76 yards and two touchdowns, and threw a 72-yard TD to Alex Eterno with 8 minutes left in the game. With the win, Astoria finished a perfect 14-0 on the season. |
