Undefeated West Albany (12-0) cruised into the state 5A semi-finals with a 33-14 win over Crater Friday night.

The Comets gave the Bulldogs their toughest test to date, trailing only 6-0 at the half. But the Bulldogs pulled away with a second-half scoring spree.

Will Murphy returned a kick for a score and caught a Reese Miller TD toss.

Miller also ran for two scores, and threw for a second TD in the win.

The victory sets up a semi-final showdown with undefeated, second-ranked Mountain View next Friday.
