Lessard played a major role in South Kingstown posting the third-best overall Division I regular-season record and reaching the Final Four of the Division I state tourney with his bat and his play in the outfield. He was the Rebels' leader in RBIs with 33, home runs with three and extra-base hits with 13. He was second to behind fellow All-Stater James McKinney in several other offensive categories including runs scored, with 27. He posted a .724 slugging percentage and a .525 on-base percentage.
