In two years as a starting member of the Hendricken pitching rotation, Sheehan never lost a game. He posted the best record on the Hawks' mound staff this season at 10-0, including three victories in the Division I state tournament. One of those playoff victories came over top-seeded North Kingstown in the winners’ bracket final of the Final Four double-elimination series. In 62 innings on the mound, he only allowed 12 earned runs for a 1.36 E.R.A. He had a better than 5-to-1 strikeout-to-walk ratio as he struck out 81 while issuing only 15 free passes.
