One of the few high school catchers who calls his own pitches, Adams did an outstanding job handling a relatively inexperienced Hendricken pitching staff this season in addition to being one of the top hitters for the state champion Hawks. He posted a combined average of .408 in regular season and playoff competition with 29 hits in 71 appearances. He was the Hawks third-leading hitter and No. 3 run-producer with 28 RBI. Thirteen of his 29 hits were for extra bases, including three home runs. He will play at URI next season.
