Baseball All-StatesChris Costantino06:00 PM EDT on Saturday, June 28, 2008 Costantino stepped up and gave the Hawks one of the big bats they needed in their drive to their first state title in three years. A solid defensive player at first base, he also was the Hawks' second-leading hitter with a .444 average, the No. 2 run-producer with 30 RBI and the second-leading home-run hitter with six round-trippers. He had 32 hits in 72 plate appearances, including 17 for extra bases. His performance helped the Hawks score a Division I-high 175 runs this season.
