Shooting 40.7 percent overall from the field and 35 percent from the perimeter, she averaged 20.5 points per game in her final season, finishing with a career total of 1,380 points. Monti also recorded 4.8 assists and 2.7 steals per game. "Without Monti, we are an under-.500 team," Dion said. "She could create a shot almost anywhere she wanted. Inside or out, you had to play her." Headed to Yale University in the fall, Monti was a first-team All-State selection in soccer last fall and has twice earned All-State honors in outdoor track.
