Christensen concludes her high school cross-country career with a fourth All-State honor, her third on the first team. In her four years, the senior has placed eighth or better at the state meet, winning the race in 2006 and finishing second to teammate Jeanne Mack in 2007. Leading a relatively young La Salle squad, Christensen helped the Rams to successfully defend both their Class A (seventh place in 20:21.08) and state championship (fourth place in 18:59.00) crowns, and to earn a No. 10 ranking among Northeast teams from Dyestat. She also helped La Salle to third place at the New England championships with her ninth-place finish (20:04) and to ninth place in the Varsity “C” race at the Manhattan Invitational with her 12th-place showing (15:44).
