Enjoying a top-five finish for the third straight year at the Rhode Island Interscholastic League state championship, Stasiuk made her final attempt the best, as she placed second only to Coventry’s Jenna Riley with a time of 18:40.63. A week earlier, she took second to Riley at the Class A championship in 19:33.10. The three-time first-team All-Stater then recorded the fourth-fastest time by a Rhode Islander, placing 43rd overall at the New England championship in 19:40. Stasiuk’s final season for the Skippers also included 16th-place finishes at the New Balance Ocean State Invitational (19:46.88) and the Varsity “C” race of the Manhattan Invitational (15:49).
