The top young player in the league, Shackleton used her outstanding skating ability to become one of its top players in only her second year of high school competition. Her 13 goals against Division I competition helped fill the void in the Lynx attack created by last spring's graduation of three-time first-team All-Stater Mary Rogers. Her performance led Lincoln School to the title round of Division I playoffs.
