"She's been dominant since her freshman year and is an emotional player that really will just do anything that she can to try to lift the team and try to help the team win," Quakers coach Jeanne Carhart said of Schmitz, who who finishes her career with 176 goals and 49 assists. "Earlier in her career, a lot of that was through scoring, and she has developed as a player, so she now does a lot of the things that might go unnoticed from a box-score standpoint, but are just as important to the success that we've had." |
