Porcaro is making his second consecutive first-team All-State appearance. As the Rams' shutdown defender, he defended opponents' best offensive threats, and he usually stopped them. Possessing excellent speed and stick skills, Porcaro's ability to pick up the ball on the run and clear the defensive zone kept the opposition away from the cage. Porcaro captained the Rams defense, which allowed the fewest goals in the state during the regular season.
