North Kingstown posted a 9-7 regular-season record in an extremely competitive Division I, then went on to finish third in the Division I tournament, and Rivelli played a large role in the Skippers’ success with her performance both in the field and at the plate. Starting every game of her high school career in center field, she committed just one error last season and was error-free this spring, while recording four assists. She also enjoyed a record-setting season at the plate. Hitting a school-record .545, Rivelli had three doubles, one triple and one home run among her school-record 37 hits, finishing with 9 RBI, 14 runs and 7 stolen bases. “Above all,” says North Kingstown coach Rick Powell, “she is a very humble, hard-working, sincere young lady that any coach would love to have on their team.”
