Occasionally playing first base, while earning All-State honors last season primarily for her solid play in right field, Imperatore moved to first base full-time this season and produced yet another All-State-caliber performance at that position. She helped Westerly to a runner-up regular-season finish behind co-champs La Salle and Bay View and a fourth-place finish in the Division I state tournament. Once again outstanding at the plate, the junior batted a team-leading .521 with a slugging percentage of .644. In addition to scoring a team-high 25 runs, Imperatore collected seven RBI with the help of her three doubles and three triples.
