Softball All-StatesKyllie Magill06:00 PM EDT on Saturday, June 21, 2008 A second-team All-State selection last spring, Magill moves up to the first team in her final high school season. Serving as a team captain for each of her last two years, the senior had a knack for coming through in the clutch, says coach Mo Jackson, and was a major reason that the 11th-seeded Saints pulled off two upsets during the postseason before being eliminated by eventual third-place finisher North Kingstown. Magill batted .380 in the leadoff spot, collecting four doubles, a triple and a home run with 18 runs scored and 7 RBI. She also recorded 13 stolen bases. Defensively, she provided a solid target behind the plate for Danielle Lotti this season, but has also provided steady play at shortstop during her career with St. Raphael.
