A second-team All-State selection last year, Mangano closed out her high school career with a first-team selection this season on the strength of her championship in the 100-yard freestyle title at the state meet. In addition to her first-team berth in the 100-yard freestyle, she earned second-team All-State honors in the 100-yard backstroke. She also set a New England Interscholastic meet record in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 54.58.
