Beisel, Jackson and Anding were the members of two state championship relay teams. The trio opened the state meet by teaming with Bucci for a winning performance of 1:53.45 in the first event of the meet, the 200-yard medley relay. Later in the day they combined with Marsocci for a two-second margin of victory in the final event of the meet, the 400-yard freestyle relay. It was the second straight year Beisel and Jackson were teammates on two state championship relay teams. In addition to helping the two Skippers relay teams capture state titles, Jackson placed second to Prout's Laura Sogar in the 100-yard breaststroke.
