Burnap’s performance at third singles played a major role as South Kingstown captured its 10th consecutive state team title this season. He was 17-1 in regular-season and playoff competition, including a key victory over fellow first-team All-Stater Matt DelSesto in the title match of the Division I state team tournament. His only losses this season were to DelSesto in a regular season match and to South Kingstown teammate Kyle Burke in the second round of the state singles tournament.
