DeNunzio's impressive performance at second singles enabled Barrington to reach the title round of the Division I state team tournament for the second straight year. The Eagles senior closed out his high school career by earning his first All-State honor on the strength of a 12-1 record in regular-season play and reaching the semifinal round of the state singles tourney. His tournament loss was a three-set decision to fellow first-team All-Stater Vidith Huot that took two days to complete.
