Nate Wigton (600)
Wigton edged Bishop Hendricken's Kyle Ricci, 1 minute 25.67 seconds to 1:25.94, to win the state title in the 600.

Nick Ross (3,000)
Despite not running at the Suburban Division Championships and then getting beat by Westerly's Andrew Springer by nearly 40 seconds in the 3,000 to finish second at the Class C Championships, Ross shocked the field at the state meet to win the state title.

Scott Capista (High Jump)
Capista only suffered one loss at the major Rhode Island meets in the high jump and that was a second-place finish at the CCRI-Invitational -- the first major meet of the season.

South Kingstown 4x800 Relay Team
South Kingstown's track team fielded many 4x800 teams this season, but none performed better than this foursome, which won the state title in 8 minutes 13.11 seconds, more than three seconds faster than its closest competitor.
North Kingstown 4x400 Relay Team
This foursome won the state title in the 4x400 by more than three seconds, setting a new meet record with a time of 3 minutes 31.39 seconds.
Hope 4x200 Relay Team
Hope's 4x200 meter relay team steadily improved throughout the season.

Jean Christensen (3,000 meters)
Establishing herself as the state record-holder (10:02.71) at 3,000 meters last season, Christensen continued her dominance of that event this winter, cruising to victory once again at the Indoor State Championships with a time of 10:14.55.

Felicia Terwilliger (High Jump)
After capturing the state high jump title as a freshman with a leap of 5 feet 2 inches, Terwilliger had to settle for second place each of the next two seasons.

Jeanne Mack (1,000 and 1,500 meters)
Helping La Salle win back-to-back indoor state titles, Mack added two more first-team All-State selections to her collection this winter, along with an invitation to the Millrose High School Mile – making her the first Rhode Island female ever to be chosen to race in that prestigious event.

Victoria Flowers (Weight Throw, Shot Put)
It was a record-setting winter for Flowers, who kicked off her final indoor season by setting a state and national high school mark in the 20-pound weight throw (61'00.75") at the Brown Invitational.

Eryn Wheeler (600-meter run)
Wheeler established herself as the top 600-meter runner not only in the state, but in all of New England this winter.

Lauren Cardarelli (300-meter dash)
After earning a number of All-State selections in her high school career as a member of La Salle's successful relay teams, Cardarelli makes her first appearance on the All-State first team as an individual state champion following her victory in the 300 meters at the Indoor State Championships with a time of 41.59 seconds.

Didi Jusme (55-meter dash, 55-meter hurdles)
The Sprint MVP of the Indoor State Championships, Jusme captured two gold medals in her final state high school indoor meet and helped Classical to a runner-up finish in the process.

La Salle 4x400 Relay Team
A couple of the faces were different but the result was the same, as La Salle once again won the state 4x400.
Classical 4x200 Relay Team
After teaming up with Janite Cadet to win last year's 4x200 in a meet record time of 1:46.13, Chloe Deflorimonte and the Jusme twins partnered with sophomore Hannelyn Perez this season and successfully defended their state crown, bettering Classical's own meet record with a time of 1:46.07.
Westerly 4x800 Relay Team
The 4x800-meter relay was contested for the first time at this year's Indoor State Championships, and Westerly gets to lay claim to the first gold medal in that event.
