Norman made her last state championship appearance a memorable one, as she took first in the 100 meters with a time of 12.41 seconds. She also took second in the 200 meters (25.49) and was a member of South Kingstown’s second-place 4x100 and third-place 4x400 relays, in helping the Rebels capture their first state crown in eight years. Her 100-meter win at the Southern Divisional Championships and her victories in the 100 and 200 at the Class B Championships helped the Rebels to the team titles at each of those meets, as well.
