Hazard made her last state championship appearance a memorable one. In addition to winning the long jump (17 feet, 10.5 inches) and the triple jump (37-02), she ran a leg of South Kingstown’s second-place 4x100-meter relay, helping the Rebels claim the team title that day. She also helped South Kingstown to the Southern Divisional title with her long jump and triple jump victories at that meet, and to the Class B crown with a win in the long jump there.
