Carmone adds a third All-State selection to her resume before concluding her high school career. The first came in the fall, when she placed fifth at the state cross country championships. She earned another in the winter when she won the 3,000 meters indoors (11:08.16). And her third All-State honor comes on the heels of her win in that event at the Outdoor State Championships with a time of 10:12.55. Carmone, who won the 800 and was a member of the Townies’ winning 4x800 relay at the Eastern Divisional Championships, also placed 16th in the two mile (11:08.16) at the Nike Outdoor Nationals.
