The Purple captain posted a state-meet double: discus (158-10) and hammer (204-08). He won the discus by 12 ½ feet and the hammer by 13 feet, 11 inches. “Josh has done a fabulous job leading our team. He has been a true captain. Being a double winner at states is not easy. He and Gama have battled for four years. They were the top two freshmen in the state and continued to battle all the way through,” Classical coach Bobby Palazzo said.
