Establishing herself as the state record-holder (10:02.71) at 3,000 meters last season, Christensen continued her dominance of that event this winter, cruising to victory once again at the Indoor State Championships with a time of 10:14.55. She also placed third in both the 1,000 meters (3:09.64) and the 1,500 meters (4:52.74), helping the Rams capture their second straight state crown. Earlier in the season, Christensen won the 3,000 (10:18.50) at the Large Schools Championships and both the 1,000 (3:06.50) and the 1,500 (4:50.60) at the Hird Division Championships. She placed fourth in the two mile with a time of 11:02.69 at the New England meet.
