Track & Field All-StatesHope 4x200 Relay Team06:00 PM EDT on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 Hope's 4x200 meter relay team steadily improved throughout the season. After winning the 4x160 at the Metropolitan Division Championships, where Hope was clocked at 1 minute 12:30 seconds, the Blue Wave cut that time down to 1:09.70 at the Class A Championships, finishing third. They saved their best performance for the state meet, where they clocked a 1:32.77 in the 4x200 to capture the state title by nearly two seconds. Even though they ran slower at the New England Championships (1:33.16), Hope still finished third at the prestigious event.
