Mack brought her total number of All-State selections to 21 this spring with three individual gold medals and another as part of a relay at the Outdoor State Championships at Brown University. The Distance MVP began the state meet by running the second leg of La Salle's winning 4x800-meter relay team. She followed that up with victories in the 800- (2:13.61) and 1,500-meters (4:45.13). Then, with the Rams locked in a tight battle with Classical, the gutsy Harvard-bound senior also ran the 3,000 meters on the hottest day of the season and won that race as well, with a time of 10:24.28. The points proved crucial, as the Rams narrowly claimed the state team title over Classical.
