Feigen went to the state meet with a big target on his back. Seeded first in the 800 by .10 seconds, Feigen broke his own personal record in the event by more than a second and finished with a winning time of 1:56.24. In addition, Feigen placed second at the state meet in the 1,500 (3:57.17). Feigen shaved nearly two seconds off his personal-best time in the 800 to take home the silver medal at the New England Championships, where he was clocked at 1:54.56.
