After finishing second in the high jump and third in the long jump last season at the state meet, Reigstad won the long jump this year with a leap of 22 feet 2 inches, and placed second in the high jump (6-4) and third in the triple jump (43-00). Reigstad was a steady jumper all season long. He won the long jump (20-8.75) and placed second in the high jump (6-2) at the Northern Division Championships, and set a new meet record with a winning jump of 21-01.50 in the long jump at the Class D Championships, where he also won the high jump (6-0) and the triple jump (42-00.25).
