An impressive, hard-working freshman, Meyers racked up a 41-1 record, losing only in the final match of the New Englands, settling for a second-place finish there. Meyers won titles in the Lancer Holiday Tournament, the Hurricane Invitational, the Chelmsford (Mass.) Invitational and the Woburn (Mass.) Tournament.
