Polselli helped Portsmouth to the Medium Schools Division Championship with a score of 178 that also ranked the Patriots third overall at the first Rhode Island Interscholastic League Team State Championships. The junior, who also helped her team to third place in the Division III Schools category of the New England Spirit Competition, then proved she ranks among the top individual cheerleaders in the state, earning a score of 93.5 at the Individual State Championships. “Jenna is a leader and her strength is in her stunting and tumbling ability,’’ says Portsmouth coach Deb Valente. ``She works with the younger members of the team mentoring them. She has been appointed as a team captain in her senior year, and she is also a fabulous student.’’
