Colleagues of the late Bob Smith - the longtime athletic director, coach and English teacher at Johnston High school, who lost a battle with cancer in July - have organized a memorial tribute to be held Oct. 21 at 7 p.m. at the high school auditorium.

Former students, athletes, coaches, fellow teachers and friends are invited to share their favorite memories of Smith, who served the Johnston School system in one capacity or another for the last 55 years.
