GAME OF THE DAY

Dan Iannucci and Brian McGreen each scored four goals and Mark Bolster added two goals and two assists in Narragansett’s 11-10 victory over Wheeler in Division I-A boys lacrosse yesterday.

SPOTLIGHT

•Nate Lindo scored three goals and Kyle Gilday made 18 saves as East Greenwich improved to 7-0 in Division II-South boys lacrosse with a 14-2 victory over Smithfield.

•James Roch finished with 38 assists, 10 digs and 3 blocks, Josh Baker had 22 kills and 6 digs and Cam DiOrio contributed 12 kills and 9 digs in Toll Gate’s 3-0 victory over Coventry in Division I volleyball.

•Corey Gardiner had 18 kills, 2 blocks and 3 aces, Ben Korry had 12 kills and Mike Colabella had 10 kills and 6 blocks as Pilgrim beat Cranston West, 3-2, in boys volleyball.

•East Providence swept North Kingstown, 3-0, in Division I boys volleyball behind David Reynolds’ 10 kills and 5 blocks and Sean Rayhill’s 8 digs and 7 kills.

•Anthea Weixel scored three goals and assisted on three others to lead Rocky Hill over Hyde, 17-1, in SENE-Division II girls lacrosse.

•Classical’s Tom Cole won four events (javelin, high jump, 110 high hurdles and triple jump) to lead the Purple over Hope and Warwick in Central Division boys track.
