05/18/2009John Gillooly: Beisel, Sogar take R.I. swimming to a new level Elizabeth Beisel, the North Kingstown junior who was a member of the 2008 U.S. Olympic swim team, won the 100-meter backstroke title and Laura Sogar, the Prout senior who is headed to the University of Texas in the fall, captured the 200-meter breaststroke crown at the Charlotte UltraSwim championships.
